I HATE THIS pic and i always will!!!! if you know how hard i worked on this fn fight you would understand.. i think we should take a new pic when we down him again and just lie and tell people it was the first time we downed him WITH FANGCASTER IN THE FUCKING PIC!!! WHORES!!!

Rose..? Hun..? Please ohhh please get a UI addon and put the raid frames right in the middle of your screen.. i dont know how in the helllll you can heal like you do with the norm Blizz UI.. im just thinking how FN EPIC you would be if you didnt have to look up and to the left and move your mouse so much to target another person.. i mean you losing like 3-4 secs from just mouse movment>.< grrr try it out. Heal Bot is ok most the top guild healers use Vuhdo or Grid with Grid hover over.. and i KNOW that smite heals would be 100% better with a ui you didnt have to look around or move so much just sayin.. your awesome epic legen...(wait for it).. DARY with out it. but i know you would be completly untouchable with an addon

Okay, I am game to try it out. I just get nervous trying it out in raids because I don't want us to wipe because I'm using something new.

I have all of the heal addons, so I can just enable one. Which one should I choose?

Also, if some of you guys will run with me in lesser dungeons and maybe 5 mans...I can practice with it until I am comfortable enough to use it in raids.

im in and ya know it i think an addon like Grid would be great for you cuz its almost like the standard ui. at start you wouldnt need to to config it all wierd .. as is its a good ui addon. im going to take some screen shots of my ui to show you what i mean and where i place the frames so i can see the whole fight and what not and having a huge red blinking light to see who has aggro i think is one of the best things for a healer but SUPER awesome for Disc beacuse of how that class is played. you can see the aggro coming and bubble and get your grace stacks up or what have you before the boss even thinks about puting dmg on that person

Ill run some five mans with you rose. As for the choice of which one to chose I have always preferred vuhdo. While it takes a lot to set up to how you like it and for someone just starting to understand addons it can be complex and confusing to set up you can change pretty much everything on it to the way you like it. It also doesn't require any other addon like grid does you just get the one addon and your good. (well except the two hours it takes to set up ) I use vuhdo on Huckleberrie and will provide a screen shot below if you have any questions about setting this massive addon up I would be more then glad to help.


P.S. Did I mention it can tell you what the other healers or doing? It can tell me when you penance have a shield up or when another druid has a hot on one of my targets so I can swiftmend off of it. the preservation of mana is always a good thing.

I think that's why I've been so nervous about using the healing addons. To me, it looks like even more stuff on the screen to worry about.

I'm sure once I get used to it, I will be fine though.

It's my dads birthday today and we have a dinner at 6 our time. But we will be here and ready to go for HM FL tonight by 8 (10 server)
and of course this weekend is Easter stuff. But on Monday, I will do some serious research/reading and choose an addon and start practicing with it.

haha yeh well my UI is all addons so all you have to worry about is the health boxes the rest we can get to when your ready too.

For me addons clean up the screen of clutter and unwanted things. It all comes down to is how you like things to be set up. It took me a whole expansion to get to where I am today and I'm still adding to it and subtracting to things I do not like. The addon process is a long one that is never finished. Though I am more content with it now then I was last expansion. You just have to find what is right for your play style. Just like I found what was right for mine. Study hard Rose and if you have any questions I'm here being the addon fanatic I am. You will make a lot of changes at first but that is all part of the process. Finding what works for you and what does not.

P.S. If you think this is scary you should see Lucienda's UI! She is my main and I devote a lot of time to addons on her!

see i just have my UI right above my action bars so i can see it whatever im doing. now it works for ME but you could put it where ever its comfy:)

HOLY GIANT UI BATMAN!!! lol Lucy how do you see the fight hahahahahaha;) but whatever works i do like how the UI is the center of FOCUS tho like a dps will have center of focus their spells and CDs so they know when they can max dps im thinking that healers UI should be about the same.. but main key is FOCUS and being comfy about where your comands come from .. imo

HAHA! I have about the same set up on lucienda just a bit more clutter! Ive tried it your way and it doesn't work right for me. So how can you play like that! LOL!

LOL!! man that would make me crazy if i had to use your UI hahahaha my OCD really kicks in for some reason when it comes to my UI. when i change my UI.. it takes me about 2-3 days usally lololol you my say "WHY FANG??" why is that so? its beacuse i know a good UI translates to better game play and dps or whatever your spec may be. my goal is to have all my info in one lacation but making sure i can see as much of the battle field as possable. i think thats why i have really good raid awareness to be honest .. like i cant see how people can CLICK and be a good raider.. like when i saw Stars Rag video.. HE WAS CLICKIBG THE WHOLE TIME!!! ahh that made me nuts lolol and i know for a fact that if he went to keybinds his game would step up 100% and as a raiding Hunter maybe even more.. but thats just IMO so

haha if you gave me your UI it would take a few hours to get down but would drive me crazy! Yes my UI is a little all over the place but Ive been playing that way for years now and I know where to look for things. Yes, I understand where the OCD comes in with UI's I'm OCD over mine too.
