Lists of what we have and what we need

With MOP coming soon, we need to organize groups.

Here is what we currently have:
Healers: Roseheals, Radomize
Hybrid Healers: Ass, Kalliope (shammy), Beymann (shammy), Stonetotem (shammy)
Tanks: Dmonty, Monjoben
Hybrid Tanks/Dps: Monj, Elfreaper (DK, mainly DPS), Lycosa (DK tank/MAIN DPS)
Pure DPS: Fang-mage, Lucy-mage, Tushar-hunter, Kimeghale-warlock (Kip)

Other potentials: Huckleberrie: Druid Healer (Lucys alt) Beyblade: Druid Healer
Stonebrut: Pally tank

Please post if you plan to raid! Add what alts you are willing to get raid ready (if you have them) and what class/role you prefer to raid with in MOP.
We need to know THIS WEEK what classes we are going to be recruiting!

So I am confused a little bit. What are we looking at recruiting here than? Would we need like 2 tanks, 2 healers, and than like 3 dps? Cause that is 13 people off of the potential list? My only alts personally is a Mage andy druid who is almost 85. Than I plan on leveling a monk healer after I get rado geared.

In truth we CAN recruit for potential raid spots.. but imo we shoud just recruit. if we want to keep our same personality about our guild. a good 90% of people now days are looking for "hard core" raiding and the rest are just really bad players. now.. do we want to train also?? or are we looking for players who already have xp in raiding? and with what we have done in this last xpac are we willing to start from scratch with a whole new player base? are we just planing on doing norms only?? or are we planing on heroic raiding asap? LOL this is bad for me i have too many questions ... and my plan and the will of our RL are going to be diff... so is it up to ME or should i ask monj what he feels like doing when he is on. so a round of questions every tuesday? im confused:(

Asking Monj means his answer will be what I say we are doing. LOL

And I say we ARE DOING HEROICS after clearing TWICE on normal. This is what my team will be doing anyway. The other raid team leader can lead however they want, but my team will be doing HEROICS as soon as we know the fights. Two full clears should be enough to learn the fights.
None of this "but we need gear" bullshit either. We will get gear. Don't worry about gear.
We are going to form the two teams with what we currently have tonight. Then we recruit what we still need.
That's the plan.

Rose I never really know what I'm doing till i hop on for the first time and decide who to lvl. The past few weeks I've been leaning to Luci as my main like always. These past few days though I'm thinking about what it would be like to heal full time. The real question is to me is what is my mood at the time mist drop or how his healing being effected by not enough spirit on gear compared to dps. I will know more when this prepatch drops. Until then ill continue to let you know my frame of mind with my dps and my healing. But from your perspective you prob want my healer more then my dps. we will see what happens. Also I need to know scheduled for raid groups as i need to plan school around it (which starts Monday).

I think it would be hard to have to not only set up another whole team but have to teach 10 players how to play and raid. That is probably more than our team would be willing to do. I personally wouldn't mind, but I think that a lot of people would get frustrated and quit imo

This is a VERY TENTATIVE first look at what Fang, Ly and I talked about today:
Team 1 will be raiding on Friday nights.
Team 2 will be raiding Tues/Thurs nights.

Team 1:
Lycosa: Raider Leader DPS DK/OS TANK
Valhara - Pure Tank - Pally
StoneBrut (if he's willing) Tank with a Shammy dps Alt
Beymann - Hybrid Healer/ DPS-Shammy
Huckleberrie- Druid Healer
Tushar- Hunter DPS
Kimeghale (Kip) Warlock DPS
Starry - Shammy Heals and DK DPS

Team 2:
Monjoben : Raid Leader Tank/DPS Druid
Dmonty: Raid Leader Tank
Fangcaster: Mage DPS
Rose: Priest Healer
Rado: Shitty Healer (oops my bad, I mean PALLY HEALER)
Kalliope (Lolly): Shammy Healer/DPS hybrid
Ass : Druid DPS/Healer Hybrid
Lucy: Mage DPS
Elf: That guy with the Jeeves

So...that being a very tentative idea of what were looking at...I need input.

With this so far, Team 2 needs to recruit one. A warrior tank would be nice. Monj can go DPS. Or, we can recruit a hunter.

Team 1 needs at least 2 people, possibly 3 depending on Starrys schedule.

I think the lists looks really good actually. Going to miss Lucy though. :O and it's okay Rose, we all make typing mistakes. Cause we both know that is the wrong way around.

Ive been doing what i do and thinking about shit way too much. we need a godly Mele in our guild. like i am with range and everything range. we need my yang for mele. our selling point for good players is going to be our knowledge of the game and classes. this will mean Rose when we are trying out healers I going to need you to talk about it freely. you know disc and heals very very well. Monty will be our tank Capi-tan and he will have to take charge of those things. so my first order im thinking will be a mele officer. or raid officer any how. not going to promote a nub to officer in our guild till we feel like they should be. maybe im thinking too much what say you all???

What was Rage's dps like last night?
I know BWD isn't the best test overall, but how did he do?

I don't think at all that it would be a bad idea to put someone in charge of just a specific role. That is what they talked about in the video that you had posted a while back. And we do need some melee bad. Cause we really don't have a bunch of really good melee. I mean they are good, but not the crazy dps some pull.

Just IMO if you were going to put role officers, I think DPS=Fang Tank= Monty/Monk Heals= Rose

We should have a "go to" person/officer for each role.
Fang obviously is the ranged DPS man.
Manty= Tank.

As of now I have 6, 7th on the way lvl 85 chars., DK, Priest, Rogue, Warrior, Druid, Hunter, & a Warlock on the way. Since with xpac is pretty much a fresh start and everyone will be working to get to lvl 90 and getting all new gear, I am willing to work with what ever class we need most. Saw a post for maybe a hunter or a warrior. Yall just yell if you need me to work with something else besides my DK.

I think we should just lvl what we feel like playing dude i think thats what makes our raids diff and awesome when we kill shit ... but thats just me i guess... class stacking would be cool but if you suck at said class then its moot.. high lvl play is going to be alot more intense this time around even tho people say its dumb down.. fuck them they are bad if they really think that. so just get comfy with a class you have fun with and go from there... but thats IMO so... i might be healing this time around-.- so wut...
