Wrote this the other night when I was bored. Not sure where it came from, but I kinda like it.

Synchronized Anachronistic Dysfunctionality

Sever my soul unto this episode of theatrics, nevermore will the endurance of another play with my heart.

Greed will fill your soul, pressuring you into a life of never-ending pain.

Lesser evils can stand upon the stones of life, where the winds of hell will tear you apart.

The pieces will fall into a bowl, forever to be washed away in the rain.

Flood my valleys, drain my soul, for I am nothing without the severance.

Allow the light into the room, reflect it into the shadows just for now.

Make the darkness cower to the brilliance, fleeting from the power you have shown.

It will fight back with great vengeance, but you will decide what you will and will not allow.

The darkness will attempt to take over the light, but with all the light you will show it that this is the space that you own.

Guide my eyes, empower my presence, for I am nothing without the light shining upon my face.

Find a new passage, a new gateway from your hell and into the stairwell.

The light guides your soul from the darkness and into the light.

Force the doors open, break every lock to escape from the bowels of this hell.

Prove you are true, do not let the darkness overtake you without a good fight.

Lead my feet, hold my hand, for I am nothing without my optimism.

Accept this new gateway, for it will be the most important decision you will ever make.

Never even consider looking back, overtake every obstacle in your way for the remainder of this day.

Look only to the future ahead of you, if you are true to yourself, you will always be able to tell which people are fake.

Continue to make your path open, widen it far greater than your own reach and you will always have enough room to play.

Be my truth, purify my mind, for I am nothing without the things that matter to me the most.
