i dont think my tanking is that good i nead help so plz let me know what i can do.

I just think that you need practice. From a healers point of view, you are not doing bad at all. Just need lots of practice to get defensive cd's rotations down and shit like that. I know nothing about tanking,

I don't know anything about tanking either.

For the most part, you're easy to heal.

Best person to get advice if you're having trouble is Manty. Monj wasn't really a tank at heart lol

Bey part of the problem also is that our group is still getting used to the different roles.
For example, I am so used to being a tank healer. And I am so used to Manty being main tank, that even when I'm in Holy, I stay near Manty and heal him.
As Holy, I should be positioning myself to be able to reach the raid, as Holy is Raid Heals.
You're not the only one struggling with your new role.

It takes some getting used to.

But more importantly, are you enjoying tanking?

From a healers perspective also - You are a LOT easier to heal than Monty is. he is stam stacked and has NO mitigation at all, so he is taking almost double the damage. But being a pally, he has survivability on his side. If monty was gemmed and forged right, he could easily tank all three of the first bosses twice as long.


As far as you though, we are ALL getting used to our parts. If I had enough gear to have a heal set and DPS set like in cata, I would be able to heal MUCH better, but until I have that much spare gear, I can't really do that as I need to be DPS for every boss other than the first and 5th.
