Demonology Warlock tanking???

Not sticking my foot in the door, Monty and Bey do plenty well enough that it should never be called upon for this to be necessary...
BUT!!!
This was something interesting I came across while in LFR for (another failed attempt of) Pinnacle of Storms. I zoned in during the Lei Shen encounter after the first wipe, and on the raid frames i noticed three tanks, which was a little out of the normal, but not entirely unusual. I've seen DPS-queued warriors and pallies who have been prot specced. However, in this particular raid, my group had: 1. A Blood DK 2. A Prot Warrior 3. A Demo Warlock. I figured maybe it was a raid frame glitch, no big deal, no real consequence to me, I just burn the boss and trash as a Damage Dealer... This Demo Lock, up til we wiped, actually did really damn good keeping threat and knowing when to taunt (we'll get to that in a minute). He knew the fight very well. So I briefly researched and found that, with high enough Ilvl and talents and glyphs, Demo Locks could be a viable tanking spec IN THEORY, despite the fact that they don't gain vengence, they can't queue for tank roles ever, and also how Ghostcrawler keeps shooting the idea down.
So I'll provide you with what I've turned up and maybe sometime later in MoP, they'll be nerf or further implemented.

I'll continue looking into this and may try it in heroic instances before trying it in LFR, but definitely something intriguing and worth exploring.

lol now locks want to be pallidians as well as mages with pets...pick one to copy and stick to it i say...nah but it would be nice to have another tanking class

Luci, how many times have i told you. We locks ARE NOT copying mages and just have pets. Actually yall mages found our pets appealing and decided to try to copy us by using a water elemental. GET IT STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol the creation of Mages first and the release of when the mage got the pet like a hunter or a Warlock are two different times in Wow. Argument is invalid!
