Heroic Ultraxion

So Monj and I have been doing a shitton of reading.

Apparently, one healing this boss is NOT the norm. Yes, it can be done but raid groups usually only take this route if their dps is bad.

From what I'm reading, I should be healing in Holy, taking red. Rado takes green and blue.

Since our DPS is getting better, 2Healing is the better option. I kinda noticed the improvements.... granted they were SOOO small... lol, yeah right, we have increased our overall DPS by almost 50k, we have a good shot at this, and holy does work good with a pally. Smite healing is effective too, but it's only purpose is more DPS, so not needed. 1 Healing is done moreso for the faster kill than low DPS, but it requires a healer with 403+ gear from what I see. Either way we are still a little low on DPS for an easy kill. Even myself, I am not fully back into rotation like i need to be, but we should give it a few more goes tonight.

Agreed. I say we work on him until we need to clear DS before people have to log.

I'll temporarily respec to Holy for that fight and see how it goes. I can put Guardian Spirit on Stone rather than Pain Suppression.

I actually saw a Druid one heal it on YouTube last night. He kicked ass and held mana the entire fight.

we need to use our CDs better.. we have two Pallies=2BoPs.. Elf should live through anything with AmS+IbF. Pain Sup is awesome indeed but we have so much shit at our fingers we dont use.. why dont Monty and Rado use Sac?? the mages need to be useing our shields during heavy dmg points.. i know its a lil loss of dps but whatever. Yorvasge we have two fire mages.. we need to save combustion for black phazes! elf is prolly our most effective aoe after that in Frost altho he needs to be Unholy on every other fight for extra CDs and way more dps at current gear lvls. and if Ash isnt specd and/or glyphed into Def CDs as a drood that needs to be changed. i am happy the dps is going up tho and i dont think it will matter if you go Holy for that Fight Rose. the bad part will be at the end of the fight where the dmg is soo high that no AoE heals in the game regardless of buffs will keep any of us up. I personally feel you as Disc is going to have way more Value to "OUR" group as far as dmg mit for that Phaze. and we wont have hero for dps with current strat for that last 20% and that is scary and really dont think its going to work but i believe in Monj in the End i feel ive been doing soooo much reading on my class and working on everything i can and i know a few who are doing the same(LUCY) but when Elf does 27k???? and people fuck up the easy parts of fight 3-5 times in a row? it Fells like my own raid is Trolling me OK im done venting see you all tonight

i feel bad now lol Rose has been working very hard also prolly harder than any of us Ash your doing great too man, Rado has shown VAST improvments (sweet) Stone.. well he has stayed the same for two patches now ; / i know shit about shammies or i would prolly go off on that too and Monj needs gear point blank. now we are kinda moving into a half a heroic raiding group i think its time for a loot council that gears up the raid as a whole for what we need YES i said it and i dont care maybe we will lose the people who are there for GEAR and not content or wants to advance our Guild in a good way:) i know im going off again but the guilds who down heroic content do that and have been doing it for years.. and guess what it works.. im still ramped for being server 12th for Madness but we have been 1/8 for two fn months ??? I was just thinking that last night. 1/8 at this late stage is a bit weak. We should be at LEAST 5/8.

I'll stay Disc for tonight. Let's get this bastard down so we can move on. This is why we definitely need a solid plan for next xpac. We don't want to be only 1 Heroic boss down at the end of the xpac lol

I know I ain't one of the raid leaders or anything but I 100% agree with this. I think that everyone should be pulling their part. Especially in heroics. They are hard as shit and is going to take everyone knowing how to play their character flawlessly. Also being able to do the raid mechanics. Especially the simple ones such as Fading Light or the Twilight. Or even the mana ball in the slime boss. Those aren't really hard mechanics.

While I understand that there are some occasions where you just miss them, and everyone does that. Me probably more than most, but I don't usually after I get them down.

That is just my opinion.

I think one of the main reasons we are still sitting at 1/8 is because we really only get to raid approximately 3 hours per week.

By the time we all get there, get to the dungeon, get buffed, fed and flasked...down trash etc...we just don't have enough time.

Having a raiders meeting this Sunday at 7pm server to hopefully get some things figured out.

Yeah. I understand that people have to get off early, but then we should at least try to start an hour earlier. That extra hour even would really help get this shit down. Even with 4 hours a week in my old group we would spend all night on 1 boss to get it down. But we did start getting shit down because of it.

Hours is really the major thing. 2-3 hrs a night is VERY low. for example - Play did Ultrax for roughly 20 hrs before killing it, for us that would mean 6-8 weeks of Ultrax, Plus they were MUCH better geared, so honestly the fact we are even getting CLOSE is amazing as hell. Rado needs to get his Maw, even the one from LFR would be better than anything else right now
